ღSYNOPSIS
Josette Lewis has been living a lie and needs to get out of Kentucky as soon as possible. She moved to Louisville with the hope of turning her casual relationship with Derek Vaughn into something more meaningful. She was helplessly in love with him, and wanted to be everything he needed. This meant she drank what he liked, dressed the way he liked and made sure to satisfy him the way he liked. In an attempt to define their shapeless relationship, Josette gives Derek an ultimatum that back fires.
In the midst of her breakup, she is reminded that she must come up with a romance piece for work that involves five fantasy rendezvous assignments for readers, but Josette loathes the idea of writing an article about finding love when she is still trying to recover from her own heartbreak.
As she faces reality and accepts that the man she loved would never be hers, Josette prepares to sell her house in Kentucky but not before changing all the locks and placing an order to have her security system upgraded. When Aidan Ross, a hunky technician, shows up at her front door to fulfill her request she is instantly drawn to his sexy grin and easy going ways. After opening up to him about her article, Aidan offers to help her create the rendezvous assignments in the interest of research. Can Josette let go of her usual pretenses and accept that being herself is exactly what Aidan wants? Will five dates be enough time for him to convince her to stay in Kentucky and take another chance at love?
